This is one of my slow, brooding "cinematic" tracks. The intermission map this belongs to was meant to invoke some disquietude in the player, and convey a transition from the lighter toned first episode into the more sinister second, slaughter-focused episode.
I think it contains a few of my hallmarks. Chords and instruments that leapfrog and settle around each other, and long drawn out sustains that last a bit too long to hold that tension until it almost feels a bit comfortable before it finally resolves.
The MIDI ended up being a tad longer than it takes most players to beat the map, but maybe someone out there stuck around to hear its ending :)

This is the MIDI I wrote for my D2ICO submission, Crypto Crash. Its a futuristic city map where you fight demons on the upper levels of a skyscraper district or something with lots of neon in the background. Inspired by everything.
