Description:
Made for AngelicDaze's Editing Olympics Winter 2026 IC. For this event we were each assigned a random country that was participating in the Winter Olympics and then had the two week period that the Olympics ran for to make a video relating to our country in some way.
I got Mongolia which was an amazing coincidence as just the week prior I had been listening to some music by "The Hu" and thinking I'd like to edit with it some day.
I ended up taking the first whole week to decide which of their songs to use (and I had to talk myself out of using the 9 minute version of Black Thunder), and then the next week deciding on the source. The day of the deadline I decided to make an oldschool Endless Waltz video, which I think worked out pretty well. I edited 90% of this on that day, though I had to cut out a verse in order to submit it by the deadline. The version I'm uploading has that verse put back in (as I think it flows better) and a couple minor tweaks.
