Black Nox, a Black Arms-like alien creature with unbelievable strength. At the beginning of the game, the player is thrown into an unbeatable fight against Black Nox who is able to easily defeat Sonic. The player then must work their way up to facing Black Nox again. Black Nox acts as the game's penultimate boss for about half of the game's playable characters.
