Soundtrack - Iterations (Veqtor)
The third area of the sewer shifts the game’s focus from combat to stealth. After cutting out in the previous area and getting separated, Orbon or Cubon is contacted by Sokolov who informs that GHOST has attained a new dangerous ability. He is vague but is clear that if GHOST catches them he will do something worse than killing them and they must abandon the mission immediately. Unfortunately for them, however, it seems GHOST has been keeping an eye out and is actively looking for the duo in the exact area they are. With no other choice Orbon and Cubon try to stealthily make their escape.
This stealth section is unique in that every time GHOST is nearby the player the music and screen get noticeably distorted, an effect which dissipates as he gets further away.
Unfortunately for the player, the section will always end in GHOST catching them just as they are at the end. After grabbing ahold of Orbon or Cubon, GHOST forces them to watch a flash of someone being killed in their mind. Afterward, the character is woken up by their respective partner and escorted to safety at the end of the section.
