Not gonna lie, this guy ran me over for a while! Some tips that helped me:
1. Use the regen Armor full set. The blood counts as water, so the regen is really strong.
2. Use a couple Tiger Subdual Pellets throughout the fight. The damage makes a big difference.
3. Guangmou spirit (Veiled Serpents) deal a pretty big chunk of damage. Don;t do it like me, make sure to put it in the pool, not on the outer perimeter. Half of mine missed the hits, and it still did a bunch of damage.
4. Dodge INTO his attacks, not away. He tends to dodge backwards after some of his combos, and you want to be able to close and get some damage in quickly.
