I remember watching Gingy's 3D Synthesia concept back when it was uploaded (youtu.be/NiWVAlJ4FdY) and recently I thought how would this look in UMP. Recording these 3D UMP videos is quite difficult, but still much easier than doing it in Synthesia. UMP allows rendering videos with an alpha channel, meaning that they have transparency so it looks much better and it's easier than having to chroma key the background. The final result is perfect in my opinion, it really does look like there is depth. These videos would be very hard to make for larger midis, and it likely wouldn't look nearly as good as this video because note art would pretty much overlay all tracks behind them (Maybe it could work if I make the notes transparent?), however I will probably use this 3D technique for some smaller midi videos in the future.
Note speeds I used range from 0.5 to 7.5.
