Black Ice is a piece that I composed for a short film by the experimental film maker Stan Brakhage. Brakhage made the film after suffering a devastating head wound after slipping on a patch of black ice. Brakhage typically did not have any music in any of his films because he did not want to distract from the visuals. I included music in this version because me and a few classmates were put to the challenge of composing music for one of Brakhage's films. I in no way own any of the rights to the film nor do I claim it as my own. Please enjoy my musical interpretation of Black Ice.
