Luxurious Blu | Black Gay Love In The Time Of Slavery - The Prophets by Robert Jones Jr. Book Review @LuxuriousBlu | Uploaded July 2021 | Updated October 2024, 14 hours ago.
The end of my two month spent in the time of slavery.
Robert Jones Jr.'s The Prophets wasn't a lighter foray into slavery because it was a story about two Black men that were slaves in love in the time of American chattel slavery. But was a beautifully poetic read about their experiences and how they were able to show love to each other despite their circumstances.
