time to fantasize again! since respected, prestigious, arthouse directors are tackling iconic horror properties (luca guadagnino's suspiria), let's discuss how awesome it would be if academy award nominee greta gerwig (lady bird, little women) created her own version of the 1974 feminist horror film "black christmas".
yes, the film has been rebooted twice (the 2006 remake was bloody disgusting but fun & the 2019 blumhouse remake returned to the feminist roots of the property but...was trash). imagine the sophistication and rich female themes greta gerwig could bring to this title. movie? hbo miniseries? netflix series?
