I'm at a primitive campsite in Point Washington State Forest. There are campers at two other campsites. It is 6:26AM. Since about 5AM sounds have mainly been of awakening birds and insects. Suddenly what sounds to me like a drum and a little flute. Is this true? Occasionally there are loud crashes indicative of some other activity. After 12 minutes the drumming stops. Woodpecker?
