First 5 Minutes of my Rainforest documentary. Total for all three Episodes is 90 Minutes.
Birds of South East Queensland Rainforest & Wet Sclerophyll Episode One.
It is with a mixture of excitement and relief that I can say the Rainforest Documentary is finished, at least Episode One is’ over the line’.
There will be three Episodes and I will be commencing production on parts 2 and 3 later in the year. It has been two years in the making as I have continually upgraded the footage, natural and bird audio, along with the story and narration.
This Episode touches on elements such as Bird song, Breeding cycle, Jiz and also a little of ‘my own story’ which I have titled ‘off with the birds’.
The 4 Chapters that form Episode 1 will be released over the coming weeks in addition to the trailer and my story which represents my journey as a film maker.
My ambition for the series is for it to be accessible to birders and general nature enthusiasts alike. Part two and three will cover 55 Rainforest species that inhabit the forest in ‘layers’. Ie Terrestrial, Mid strata, Canopy and Fringe dwellers. Each species is documented in intimate detail.
The film is a celebration of the birds and the special places that are so close to home.
