I have watched the birdlife on the Sunshine Headlands for around 30 years and in that time, the human population may have quadrupled. The birds are still there but the number have reduced and some species have disappeared completely, possibly due to so much disturbance.
This short film includes footage of Eastern Reef Egrets, Sooty Oystercatchers and Eastern Ospreys.
Each species has it's niche way of hunting and this is a joy to watch.
