The Pikmin 2 Cave Randomizer is back! Delve into the unknown depths as we tackle 30 randomized challenge mode caves, complete with random names!
Can we survive the Cavity of Snagrets, Dirigibug Alley, and Pit of Emperors?
Why start over? I feel pretty removed from the original recordings, but the main reason is I want the series to be better: speed up the pacing, cut out empty space, hand-drawn thumbnail art, less stretchy on the screen, more professional gear setup, and improved commentary. (Well, no guarantees on that last one.) Not quite a complete overhaul, but enough of a tone shift that a restart seems warranted. A redux, if you will. And I still have that old footage...maybe some day.
Plus, I tire of this video drought. I need something to oil my editing hands back into use.
Hope you enjoy! Shoot me that constructive feedback. I am only recording a couple episodes in advance, so there is space for any good ideas to be implemented.
The Pikmin 2 Randomizer Redux is a series where the 30 challenge mode stages in Pikmin 2 have been completely replaced by a unique set of random caves. They progress in difficulty the further down we go, with our primary goal to attempt all of them, secondarily trying to perfect or at least complete them.
These caves were created using a development version of the Pikmin 2 Cave Generator, which is planned to release at a later date. The previous release can be found on Particular Discord.
Thumbnail art was created by Particular Mushroom using Krita.
