Birdbox Records may not be a name familiar to us in the United States. My hope is that this video will alert people to this very interesting label based in Italy. Not only a label, but a recording studio called Nightingale Studios are both under the guidance of Lorenzo Vella, who wanted to record music all analog using a mix of vintage and modern equipment. In this video I talk a bit about Lorenzo Vella, Birdbox Records, Nightingale Studios and of course the marvelous album under review, titled II by guitarists Unberto Fiorentino and Claudio Quartarone.

The record is pressed on 180gm vinyl at Optimal Germany. It is available in a limited numbered edition of 300. I believe all copies are signed by both artists.
