I always forget about Toa Nikila. Given my distaste for much of the fan-submitted content within the Bionicle franchise, it's always weird when I remember that at one time I too contributed to it, when my sloppy drawing of the character was approved as her official design in a small-scale online contest.
I almost immediately regretted not putting more thought into her design, which is fairly generic -- the only tidbit I'm truly fond of is her having Slizer-heads for feet that symbolize her ancientness. On one hand, her generic look is deliberate, as her partner Lesovikk is likewise a pretty basic design, and being one of the first Toa ever created according to the lore, I wanted to keep her simple and "conventionally" heroic-looking. On the other, I could have been more creative.
Thankfully, Nikila herself is a pretty pointless character that never had an effect on Bionicle's main story, given her only contribution to the lore was dying in the backstory of another pointless side character's (Lesovikk's) side plot in a piece of obscure side media.
This model was made back in 2012, but it was awfully primitive and only had extremely basic texturing, so I touched it up a little. Tweaked the mask, gave her that trident thing, eyes in the style of the Miramax movies, and a new curvy butt which I like to think is also canon.
