I've hinted at my involved with BBU for a while! And now recently I've been wanting to stream more, and with the OK given from the BBU leads, I'll also be streaming more while working on the game itself!
As you can probably imagine, though, not everything I work on will be streamable. The biggest factor in deciding what's streamable when working on this game is whether or not what's being worked on is a major plot spoiler. And there's a lot of them around. So, if you do see me streaming cutscene work, it'll be fairly infrequent. You'll probably more likely be seeing me stream work on gameplay animation stuff, as I do some of that as well, and are a lot less likely to have any plot spoilers when working on such things.
I'll also still be streaming my own personal work from time to time as well! I do want to find a good balance somewhere, so we shall see how that all goes.
Also final necessary note about clarity. While I am being paid to work on BBU, I am not being paid to promote it or stream it. I am choosing to stream it as my own decision! Anything I say or do on my stream is still on my own accord.
My Chat Wishes:
1) Please try not to be overly concerned about me streaming for long hours or whatever. I do understand the concern, but it has gotten really draining to constantly hear it over and over, and having to constantly tell them that I'm doing fine.
2) Be sure to follow the rules (listed below) before participating in chat, and follow them.
3) Read the FAQ (linked below) before asking questions, as questions you may have might already be answered there, and I may ignore your question if I know it's already answered there.
Chat Rules:
1) Constructive critique is encouraged, just keep it polite. (And also be aware that things will look off, especially as I animate something in the early stages, so try to be aware of not giving overly obvious critique on an early stage animation.)
2) Nothing political (especially right now), explicit, or violent in chat.
3) Please do not spam the chat with things that are incredibly unrelated to what I am doing OR what the current chat topic is about.
4) Keep the chat English only please. I mainly ask this so that I can understand what everyone is saying in chat without running things through a translator, which takes up my work time on stream.
5) If you are below 21 and you disclose your age, I will remove your comment, and if you continue to do so, you will get banned. If you reveal your age to be below age 13, you will instantly get banned. Please be wise about disclosing your age in public online.
6) Please do not self-promote in the chat. YouTube automatically blocks those kinds of messages anyway, and I don't really want it in the chat either. Chat isn't for advertising yourself or anything else. So don't.
Failing to follow these rules may get you banned.
