Bikes Unlimited (BU) is a bike shop in Lynchburg, Virginia, on Jefferson Street. From April until late fall, BU hosts a weeky ride on Tuesdays on the Lynchburg trails. The rides start around 6 PM. Sometimes the group rides west on the Blackwater Creek Trail to the Awareness Garden and sometimes east/north on the Riverwalk Trail across the James onto Percival Island. Once the group reaches that night's destination, a group photo is taken and the group returns to the Trailhead Restaurant attached to the building in which BU is housed. The Trailhead serves all types of beverages - especially beer, thus the Pints, and food.
This is a ride for everybody of all ages and capabilities. No bike? No problem! BU makes its rental bikes available to folks at no charge! This video documents one such recent ride. Come out and join in the fun!
