A video response to BigJoel's "A surprisingly Passionate defense of Twilight". Here, we expand on the use of agency in romance.
If BigJoel ever sees this, I hope he takes this video response as a further exploration on the use of agency in romance, and not as a video saying “you’re wrong”. I just said he's wrong to be silly, because I think it’s funny when people actually make angry reaction videos to someone so smiley.
I’ve only read the book Sense and sensibility, and haven't seen the movie. So the pictures I used might not be the actual actors, or I just used clips from Pride and Prejdudice. Both books have main characters who have to find their own happiness in a society that leaves them powerless. Even though I could have just talked about Pride and Prejudice, I really wanted to share the quote from Sense and Sensibility, despite not finding footage from the movie.
