This is an update of what happened at the protest in Aurora for Elijah McClain, who was murdered by the Aurora police department on August 24, 2019. On Saturday July 25, we marched on I-225, where a jeep tried to run us over. In order to keep cars from entering the highway, the traffic was already blocked off on the side the jeep was driving on. This means that the driver of the jeep went on the highway, past the roadblocks, specifically to run us over. Luckily, Sebastian Sassi ran into the jeep to slow it down. If he had not done this, many of us would be injured and possibly dead.
If us blocking traffic is so upsetting to you, that you feel the need to try to kill us, then arrest the murderers of Elijah McClain: Nathan Woodyard, Jason Rosenblatt, and Randy Roedema.
