Big housing news most people aren’t talking about.

A bipartisan housing bill just passed the House 390–9.

If the Senate approves it, the bill would:

• Speed up approvals for new housing
• Expand financing for multifamily development
• Push cities to loosen zoning barriers
• Make FHA loans easier to use for manufactured housing

The idea is simple: increase supply to make housing more affordable.

But policy and reality don’t always match.

Will this meaningfully increase housing supply… or end up as another bill that sounds good but changes little?
