High school football is back, and NBC 5’s first Big Game Friday Game of the Week features a Week 1 showdown between state championship contenders Allen and Duncanville. The Allen Eagles, led by sophomore quarterback Ty Snell, host the Duncanville Panthers and star wide receiver Quinton Yancey. Both teams enter the season with high expectations under coaches Lee Wiginton and Reginald Samples. NBC 5’s Pat Doney previews the matchup from Allen.
