The wild harvest this summer and fall at the Hut is HUGE! One of my favorite fruits to collect here is manzanita. The last time they produced fruit was in 2020. This day was my birthday and I spent it alone here at the Hut collecting wild edibles and working on my hammock. The weather is hot in the day and the nights warm and comfortable. Manzanita berries are especially delicious when prepared as a tea. Have you eaten manzanita before?
