Big Bay has been characterized as a prime example of a Carolina Bay formed by wind and water mechanisms over thousands of years based on dates obtained by Optically-Stimulated Luminescence. This presentation examines the premise that Big Bay formed in just a few minutes by the catastrophic bombardment of ice boulders ejected by an extraterrestrial impact on a glacier.
