Ontario Traffic Man | Bicycle-priority intersection in Toronto @OntarioTrafficMan | Uploaded May 2012 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Intersection of Waterfront Trail (Martin Goodman Trail) and the Budapest Park driveway. In this 2 minute video there are 51 cyclists, which is a rate of 1530 bicycles per hour.
Good design practices:
- Red pavement (not paint) for visibility and durability
- Path and road twisted to meet at 90 degrees
- Separate pedestrian and bicycle paths (pedestrian path is off-screen to the right)
Bad practice:
- Yield sign is missing
