Street interview memorizing the fruits of the spirit found in Galatians 5:22
Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control.
Using the body this is a variation of the mind palace.
How to Use the Mind Palace for Galatians 5:22
“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…”
Step 1: Choose a Location
Pick a place you know very well — your home, your office, your church. You'll mentally walk through this place in a specific order.
Step 2: Select 9 Locations (1 for each word or idea)
Start at your front door, then move to the entryway, kitchen, sofa, hallway, etc. Example:
Front door
Doormat
Living room chair
Coffee table
TV
Bookshelf
Kitchen sink
Fridge
Dining table
Step 3: Create Vivid Mental Images
Now assign each Fruit of the Spirit to a location with a powerful, exaggerated image:
Love – At your front door, imagine a giant heart balloon floating and pulsing with love.
Joy – On the doormat, a person is dancing and laughing uncontrollably.
Peace – In the chair, a peaceful monk is meditating with a glowing aura.
Patience – On the coffee table, an old man with a long beard waits calmly while a slow turtle walks by.
Kindness – On the TV, a cartoon character is giving away flowers and hugs to everyone.
Goodness – On the bookshelf, golden light shines from a treasure chest labeled “goodness.”
Faithfulness – At the kitchen sink, a loyal dog sits faithfully, waiting for its owner.
(If you continue to verse 23, you’d keep going with gentleness and self-control.)
Step 4: Walk the Path Mentally
Whenever you want to recall the verse, simply walk through your Mind Palace in your imagination, location by location.
You’ll be amazed at how quickly the verse comes back — and in order.
