After 40 years, Asteroids can still be considered an absolute arcade classic. But can the same be said for its sequels, in particular Atari Games' 1987 title Blasteroids? In this episode of "Beyond The Scanlines" I dive into the Commodore 64 conversion of it, developed by Teque and published by Image Works in 1989.

Gameplay footage recorded off a real C64C (via S-Video), fed through an XRGB Mini - watch at 1080p50 for the absolute best quality!

If you enjoyed this episode, would you kindly consider leaving a THUMBS UP, or leaving some COMMENTS, or even SHARING this with other like minded peeps.

Thanks for watching!
