The dedication of the ACS National Historic Chemical Landmark will be preceded by the Second Annual Bettye Washington Greene Endowed Memorial Lectureship, featuring Dr. Dorothy J. Phillips as the keynote speaker. Dr. Dorothy J. Phillips was employed by Dow Chemical Company from 1974 to 1984 and by the Waters Corporation from 1984 to 2013 where she was involved with both research development and business management. She was elected to serve three terms on the Board of Directors for the American Chemical Society.
