Meet the Cyberbike Charger R1, a new electric dirt bike created through a collaboration between Cyberbike and Rerode. In this full review, we break down why the R1 stands out in a crowded emoto market and why it may be the best riding budget electric dirt bike under $4,500.

We cover the full build, features, suspension setup, and real-world performance, along with what we like, what we do not, and whether the Charger R1 is worth choosing over competitors such as the Talaria Sting, Surron Light Bee, and other emotos in this price range.

*Why the Cyberbike Charger R1 Stands Out*
* 50+ mph top speed
* 72V 35Ah LG battery (removable and externally chargeable)
* 10kW peak power with 390 Nm torque
* Smooth sine wave vector controller
* FastAce front suspension with adjustable rear air shock
* 19-inch moto wheels with 4-piston hydraulic brakes
* Keyed ignition, USB A and USB C charging
* Backed by Cyberbike’s strong customer service and dealer network

This is one of the best riding budget emotos we have tested. The geometry is excellent, the suspension is plush, and the overall build quality feels much higher than expected at this price.

*What Could Be Better*
* No app to disable regen or engine braking
* Only two speed modes
* Tail light does not function as a brake light
* Not as much bottom end torque as some competitors
* No steering column lock
* Uses bicycle grade brake systems rather than DOT fluid systems
* No certificate of origin included
* No quick disconnects to disable electric braking or maintenance

Even with these issues, the Charger R1 delivers a ride quality that outperforms many bikes with larger specs on paper.

* Who Should Buy the Cyberbike Charger R1?*
* A smooth, comfortable emoto with excellent geometry
* Better ride quality than most sub $4,500 electric dirt bikes
* Strong customer support from a company that stands behind its products
* A quiet, easy to ride, well balanced electric dirt bike

If ride quality matters more than headline specs, the R1 is a great choice.
