50 years ago this weekend, my dear sister Lisa won an album off the radio station WFOM in Marietta, Georgia. The album was “Destroyer”, by KISS. I don’t know if she was the correct-numbered caller, or what game she might've played, but she brought the album home, and promptly gave it to me, since she wasn’t a fan. Thus began my lifelong love of KISS, the greatest American rock band in history - and yes, I believe that, and will defend my position fiercely, so try me if you want! Anyway, as a way to celebrate 50 years of KISS fandom and my dear sister Lisa, here’s what I think was probably the only song on the album she liked.
