Minecraft 1.16.5 has been out for a while now, so by now most mods have been updated to work with Forge 1.16.5 as well. In this video I will show you how to install Xaeros Minimap 1.16.5 and how to install Xaeros World Map 1.16.5 for Forge! Xaeros Minimap is one of the most popular minimap mods for Minecraft of all time, especially when you combine it with Xaeros World Map 1.16.5! Xaeros Minimap lets you keep track of your journey through a useful and interactive minimap, it allows you to set waypoints and spot other mobs more easily. Xaeros Minimap is a Forge mod, so in this video I will also show you how to install Forge 1.16.5, so youll be able to use Xaeros Minimap and Xaeros World Map in Minecraft 1.16.5! Now the Forge 1.16.5 installer will be a .jar file, so to run it you need Java. Because for some people the file association is set incorrectly, they will need to run a program called Jarfix to fix this. Apart from showing you how to install Forge for Minecraft 1.16.5, and showing you how to install Xaeros Minimap for 1.16.5 and how to install Xaeros World map for Minecraft 1.16.5, I will also show you the mods in action real quick! Ive picked some of the best 1.18.2 resource packs, which includes both HD packs and some very simple texture packs. In this video youll find texture packs like Faithful HD and Wanderlust, but also Bare Bones. On top of that there is also one really cool, very colorful pack in this video called Tooniverse.
I do recommend installing Optifine 1.18.2 or Iris Shaders when using most of these packs, since a few of these resource packs have features that are only enabled when using Optifine.
On top of that Optifine 1.18.2 or Iris Shaders 1.18.2 allow you to combine the texture packs for 1.18.2 with Shaders! With the release of Minecraft 1.17.1 we also quickly got a Forge 1.17.1 version! It usually takes some time for Forge 1.17.1 to be released, but this time Forge was updated to 1.17.1 pretty quickly! In this video, I will show you how to install Forge 1.17.1, but since this is a Forge Beta version, its a little harder to install. Of course, if you want to use mods in Minecraft 1.17.1 update, youll have to install Forge 1.17.1! The 1.17.1 Forge installer will be a .jar file, so to run it you need Java. Because for some people, the file association is set incorrectly, they will need to run a program called Jarfix to fix this.
