Ive picked some of the best 1.18.2 resource packs, which includes both HD packs and some very simple texture packs. In this video youll find texture packs like Faithful HD and Wanderlust, but also Bare Bones. On top of that there is also one really cool, very colorful pack in this video called Tooniverse.
I do recommend installing Optifine 1.18.2 or Iris Shaders when using most of these packs, since a few of these resource packs have features that are only enabled when using Optifine.
On top of that Optifine 1.18.2 or Iris Shaders 1.18.2 allow you to combine the texture packs for 1.18.2 with Shaders! The link above allows you to download 1.18.2 resource packs from their official Curseforge page. With the release of Minecraft 1.17.1 we also quickly got a Forge 1.17.1 version! It usually takes some time for Forge 1.17.1 to be released, but this time Forge was updated to 1.17.1 pretty quickly! In this video, I will show you how to install Forge 1.17.1, but since this is a Forge Beta version, its a little harder to install. Of course, if you want to use mods in Minecraft 1.17.1 update, youll have to install Forge 1.17.1! The 1.17.1 Forge installer will be a .jar file, so to run it you need Java. Because for some people, the file association is set incorrectly, they will need to run a program called Jarfix to fix this.
