If you're in the market for a used dual sport motorcycle and want to buy something that's reliable and capable, here's a list of the best used dual sport bikes to target in your search. I want a bike that’s going to run well with minimal wrenching, so that’s what I’m recommending. You’ll find that these are mostly Japanese bikes. They just last longer and require less maintenance. I’m also biased but it’s my list and I’m not gonna encourage you to buy a bike that needs difficult or expensive fixes.
Advantages of buying used dual sports
Cheaper than new, obviously. Also saving dealer fees and taxes, depending on state.
Often already farkled and someone else paid for it.
Bike is already broken in and has scratches, etc… No concerns about keeping it new.
