In this video DJ Xross teaches you proper studio swag and ballin on a budget LOL jk this is just a little review I did on the akg d880 dynamic supercardiod microphone.
IT SOUNDS AMAZING AND IS ONLY FOR AROUND $50 ON EBAY. this is a MUST BUY for poor college vocalists like myself and I def would recommend this to all aspiring artists around the world! :)
tl;dr (idk maybe more like too long didn't watch)
pros:
-amazing clarity and rich bottom end without sacrificing presence (note that the audio for this video was recorded without the use of preamps)
-lightweight, can get used for both home recording and performances
-very durable and solid
-supercardioid pattern helps block sound and unwanted noises
cons:
-no mic stand available (as far as I know) so you have to make your own ghetto makeshift stand for it or find a stand that fits the mic
-hard to find/no fixed price because it is no longer being made
