JuicingGardener.com - Best kale chip recipe for (recovering) junk food addicts - You can give up potato chips after eating these!
I've been experimenting with kale chip recipes for the last year because I live with and cook for a raw vegan and I wanted to get it perfect! I also enjoy eating them a lot!
This recipe is SO tasty and delicious, even non-vegans, picky eaters and junk food addicts (or recovering ones) love them and they find it easier to give up snacks like potato chips, corn chips, processed chemicalized chips (you know which ones I'm talking about)
So, watch as I get my hands and kitchen messy and I actually make the chips live with you. Even if you think they sound less than yummy, I want you to try a recipe of them.
There are some really NOT delicious kale chip recipes out there and some pretty boring and bland kale chip recipes, but not these. They are a bit sweet, salty, cheesy, fatty tasting, hitting all the flavors that we are used to hitting with junk food chips.
This is a raw vegan recipe made with Vitamix and Sedona Dehydrator (the Rolls Royce of dehydrators) but can be made with a blender and oven as well.
UPDATE JUNE 2015!
It does NOT take so long to dehydrate them as I mentioned in the video! I was new at making kale chips. The sauce is still perfect but I learned two things... Not to use as much sauce and not to layer them as thickly. Now they are done in the dehydrator overnight easily.
And remember, you can always dry them in the oven at the lowest setting. Will just take a couple hours.
