Sometimes your teammates are out of utility, your pre-made friend still hasn't learnt the god flash or you're simply solo queueing so the only person you can rely on is yourself. Use these CT-side self-flashes to gain an advantage over your opponents on your own.
You might have noticed that with a lot of these flashes you can peek with it while it's still airborne, giving the enemy the choice to either get blinded mid-fight or turn and get shot in the side. This is often necessary since you'll most likely be near your opponents giving them either sound cues or visual hints about your incoming flash.
