The film "Shine your eyes" (Cidade Pássaro) by director Matias Mariani had its world premiere during the Berlinale 2020. After the screening, there was a short Q&A with Matias Mariani. The director of the movie talked about the city of Sao Paulo in Brazil, the place where the film takes place.
The movie follows the main character Amadi. He travels from Nigeria to São Paulo, where his brother, the gifted Ikenna is supposedly working as a professor at a technological institute, – at least that is what it says on the institute's homepage. But it's not only that Amadi cannot find Ikenna, it's also that the institute also doesn't exist.
Matias Mariani talked during the Q&A of "Shine your eyes" (Cidade Pássaro) about immigration, racism, and, of course, about Sao Paulo.

The Fortress of Palamidi in the coastal town of Nafplio, Greece, was built by the Venetians in the early 18th century (Read more: https://letterstobarbara.com/palamidi-fortress-nafplio/). It has a total of eight bastions, and its a typical example of baroque architecture. The locals claim that you need to climb 999 steps to reach it, but this seems rather exaggerated: in reality, if you want to reach the Palamidi Fortress, you just have to walk 857 steps.
I reached the Palamidi Fortress on a warm day in early summer. The castle is in excellent condition, and as you can see in the video, one can enjoy spectacular views of the Aegean Sea and Acronauplia. If you happen to be touring around Peloponnese, I think that the Fortress of Palamidi is a must-see.
This video from the Palamidi Fortress is filmed with the DJI Osmo Pocket in 30 fps, 1/60 Shutter Speed, and I used some ND filters due to the intense light. I edited the footage in FCPX.
