This Park Travel Short is about Bennett Spring State Park in Missouri. It is one of Missouri's first State Parks. It is known for fishing, but also has great campgrounds and trails. We hiked the Natural Tunnel Trail and a few of the other trails in the park during the Spring of 2018. We visited the Trout Hatchery and watch people fly fishing for trout in the Spring Branch of the River. Bennett Spring State Park sit on the Niangua River in South Central Missouri. We enjoyed camping that weekend in our Ozark Trail tent. The campground had just built a new bath house in our campground. Our campsite was large and shaded.
