Recently, the locomotive department of the Bennett Brook Railway completed reassembling our ex South African Railways NG15, no. 123. This footage is from part of the recent testing conducted to return the locomotive to revenue service.
While not entirely finished, the locomotive was run up to our main station, Whiteman Village Junction, the tender was topped up at the water tower and the locomotive was turned on the turntable.
The turntable footage at the end of the video is quite dark as the light was virtually gone.
