It is no secret that mainstream media companies have had to adapt quickly to remain competitive. To stay in the game, they have had to reinvent themselves as new, agile organizations that can work independently from the legacy rules, hierarchy and compliance of a big company. This is no easy task. Meanwhile, short form content is king. Whether via Twitter, Vine, Snapchat, sharing a meme, we continue to “snack on content”. 6 second formats allow for more creative freedom and that is incredibly appealing to today’s media consumer.
