Ben Barry (Dean, Parsons School of Fashion), teaches a class connected to his research project, Cripping Masculinity. in this project he leads a team that explores the fashion experience of deaf, differently-able, and neuro-divergent men and masculine non-binary people. And in his class, he connects students, with subjects and research assistants from that project to repurpose garments that the participants like but are not adapted to their bodies and needs.
Ben wants his students to envision a more inclusive and diverse future in fashion and ultimately let that impact the world.
