This video was sent to me by my good Youtube friend Chris over there in Bempton Bridlington. Chris tells me he hasn't seen a thrush in years. He thought the bird in the video might have been a song thrush. I'm not too sure but I think it's a mistle thrush. But whichever one it is, it is very welcome to Chris 's Bempton east Yorkshire back garden.
I haven't seen a song thrush here in Belfast for years either. What has happened to our thrushes? There are mistle thrushes about but they usually prefer large areas of open parkland.
