Modding of a bell and howell light bar plus a look inside. You can see the inside in the first part too.
In this mod I added a DC barrel jack for a 5 volt power adapter. The original AC plug is secured inside so I can backfall back to AC if I choose. This video was made after I installed the DC barrel jack. This light runs of two 4 volt SLA type batteries at about 2.5 amps each and there is only a simple charge circuit and a pretty shoddy one too, zero isolation from the AC side to the DC side. If you have this light you might want to mod it in a similar way.
