Hello, and welcome back to another video on the channel. For this video I am in Belarus, and will take a sleeper train from Minsk to Brest in what is equivalent to a Second Class sleeper room (Kupe), operated by the Belarusian national operator, Belaruskaya Chygunka.

For this route, they operate sleeper carriages built in the 1980s at Ammendorf, East Germany. These were originally used during the Soviet era, but have been slightly modernised since their introduction. Even so, these trains offer a reasonable experience of what it would have been like to travel on railways during the time of the USSR. It was certainly an interesting experience!
