so the story is,
humans and animals have kinda evolved together, and now live around the world in lots of different cities and countries n stuff

in this one city (i haven't decided a name for it yet), animals and humans are kinda in a passive-aggresive war with each other, fighting with the power of racism (species-ism?)

Palette, a shapeshifter living in said city, then tries to calm the tensions, and eventually comes up with a solution, a mix of both animal and human

with this alter-ego, he manages to get some traction, organizing peace rallies with his good friendo Aria

and then, in the middle of one of his peace rallies, he gets stabbed.
don't worry, he lives.
