Hey everyone! Quick update on the course — the skull section like I mentioned before is fully recorded! 🙌
I wanted to share a bit of my process with you. Most of the lessons are done using a simplified skull model rather than a hyper-realistic one. I really believe that, as artists, we benefit so much more from learning through simplified forms first. When we see every tiny crack and surface detail, it can be overwhelming — and it’s easy to lose sight of the bigger structure that actually matters for drawing.
This simplified version keeps things clean and focused on what’s most important: the volumes, proportions, and landmarks you’ll use every time you draw a head.
So far, I’ve recorded the skull module that contains:
🔥 12 Basic Skull landmarks
🎥 Three lessons covering the essential landmarks of the skull from different angles
🧭 A final class on how to draw the skull from tricky angles (like above or below), using perspective grids and box construction
✚ The assigment and a recap
The idea is to make the skull — and by extension, the head — feel approachable, not intimidating.
Still lots more to record, but things are moving along nicely. Can’t wait for you to see it once it’s ready! 💪✨
