Tennis is a game where you lose more than you win.
For Sloane Stephens, ranked one of the top 50 players in the world and only one of a handful of Black pro female tennis players, she is "very good at just moving on." It's a skill that comes in handy, especially as a professional athlete where "everyone wants something out of [you]."
Her words of advice are simple but poignant: “You always have to do whatever's best for you," she says, "And I think sometimes you kind of just have to let it go.”
