Harsh feedback can be embarrassing and mortifying đ, but professional puppeteer Megan Phiphus Peace believes that's how you level up.
The Sesame Street puppeteer was told her lip-syncâa basic puppetry skillââwasnât correct.â Having spent 18 years developing her skill as a ventriloquist, Megan Peace said, âI immediately felt embarrassed and defensive."
Megan, who became Sesame Streetâs first Black female puppeteer, said she put her pride aside and embraced the feedback. "If you have an ego, you will stay stagnant."
