Liver cancer (Hepatocellular Carcinoma) is a cancer of the liver, an organ located in the right upper quadrant of the abdomen. The liver has an enormous number of functions including synthesis of clotting factors and detoxification. Hepatocellular carcinoma is often a condition that is diagnosed via screening, so many times it is diagnosed and found when the patient is asymptomatic. However, in the case where it wasn’t found via screening, some of the most common symptoms of liver cancer include constitutional symptoms, including weight loss and fatigue. In this lesson, we discuss 8 strange skin findings in liver cancer that can occur even before other symptoms and a diagnosis is made.
