Just a little sample which explains my emphasis on filming as many periods between eruptions as possible and I don't yet see when I will be able to film the complete "after footage" parts since the next eruption is just around the corner. The final version of the "after" footage will be shot from the same angles as my "before" shots but i have lots of other shots to work so it's going to be a bit tricky to edit this into a bit of history when we can say that we have a permanent set of landscape to work with.
I'm on a volcano tour now and staying in Reykjavik until the 19th when i have to return home if the eruption hasn't started by then, i might return when this starts, and it's better if it's sooner than later for sure since the lava berms only handle so much, the longer the wayt, the more magma we have to deal with, and the Blue Lagoon carpark is a good problem sample, and to loose the power plant would be even worse.
