The Magnitude 3.7 earthquake seems to be telling the author of the new report that things are getting quite serious in west Iceland and although we have told to expect a small eruption, in such scenario, there are just so many other questions we have since this ancient system has so little history to work with. So this new report left things wide open, and the largest earthquake so far it didn't help either as it sometimes seems as the earthquakes are moving upwards, and it takes magma only 30 hrs. to make it to the surface from the mantle, if the coast is clear. So it looks as i will invest more time in this system than i expected while making my new year video.
